The Pewter Collection
This set of work is inspired by recollections of ancient historical images preserved for posterity in the form of metal and stone effect sculptural tablets. The work is created on boxed, stretched canvas using a variety of natural and manufactured materials including paper, sand, stones and plaster. The use of lacquers, enamels and acrylics in a monochrome style gives the effect of an old printing block. Each piece is individually created by hand and is totally original and unique.
